Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles has announced it is to launch a new product which will see one of the UK’s confectionery brands given a new fruity twist – two flavours in one sweet.
Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles Froosions will be available in both a single tube (RRP 51p) and a sharing bag (RRP £1.29).
Each will be filled with sweets that combine two flavours together, such as blackcurrant and apple, lemon and lime, and pineapple and orange.
Aimed at 25-44 year olds, Froosions has the same target audience as Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles.
Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles is the UK’s No.1 Fruit Sugar Single, and the Fruit Sugar category is growing ahead of the market at +4.2% compared to total confectionery which is +3.1% .
Nestlé UK & Ireland senior corporate communications manager James Maxton said:

Froosions will be available from 2nd June.
