ack Forest Distillers has appointed Sidney Frank Importing as the exclusive importer and distributor of its MONKEY 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin in the US, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. MONKEY 47, a batch-distilled, handcrafted dry gin, is distilled from 47 botanicals and macerated in a combination of pure molasses alcohol and soft natural spring water.
Black Forest Distillers founder and managing partner Alexander Stein said the global response to MONKEY 47 has been overwhelming and the company has seen a tremendous demand to expand into other markets.
"We are excited to partner with brand building expert Sidney Frank Importing Company as we bring our highly sought after schwarzwald dry gin to the United States," Stein added.
Initially introduced in Germany in May 2010, MONKEY 47 is available in 20 countries across the world, apart from its home market.
The 47% ABV gin is available in a 375ml size with a suggested retail price of $44.99.
