Boutique gelateria Black Vanilla, based in Greenwich and Blackheath has announced a summery, tennis-themed pop up at Harvey Nichols in London’s Knightsbridge this summer.
Kicking off on June 23rd, Black Vanilla creator Susan Stretch will be scooping up an array of ‘Grass’, ‘Gin & Tonic’ and ‘Cream Tea’ creations to keep shoppers cool on the fifth floor Food Market.
The list of tennis-inspired delights are:
‘More Balls Please’ Hollow artisan chocolate tennis balls coated in green coconut with a choice of artisan gelato fillings.
‘Cream Tea’ Gelato: Homemade crushed scones in a Wild Strawberries and Cream gelato.
Rose Water Gelato with Crystallised English Rose Petals: Artisan gelato infused with rose water and topped with crystallised rose petals.
Green Apple, Wheatgrass & Cucumber Sorbetto: A blend of apple, wheatgrass and cucumber.
Wild Strawberries & Champagne Sorbetto: Classic wild strawberry sorbetto with a grown up twist.
Pimms Sorbetto: The iconic summer drink in a sorbetto.
Sipsmith Gin & Tonic Sorbetto: A twist on the quintessential classic, made with Sipsmith gin.
Susan Stretch created Black Vanilla back in 2010 after feeling frustrated at the lack of good quality, additive-free ice-creams for her children.
From June 23rd Black Vanilla will be offering an array of gelatos and sorbettos, made using 100% natural ingredients.
They will be priced £3 for a 120ml pot.
Many of the flavours are unique to Black Vanilla and are made using premium ingredients such as Bronte Pistachios and Piedmont Hazelnuts.
Their signature flavours include:
Madagascan Vanilla
Venezuelan Chocolate
Wild Strawberries and Cream
Stem Ginger
Himalayan Salted Caramel
Alphonso Mango Sorbetto
Sicilian Lemon Sorbetto
Black Cherry Sorbetto
