Engineer Yousry Ahmed Abdel-Hamid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture in Ismailia, announced that the export of agricultural products to Arab and European markets during the month of September amounted to just 12,511 tonnes worth $ 4.3 million, taking into account fresh fruits, frozen vegetables, field crops and medicinal and aromatic plants. These products were exported to countries such as Italy, Romania, Lebanon, Kuwait and Jordan.
As for the total registered from January to September 2015, the export value of Ismailia's agricultural products, taking into account fruit and vegetables, field crops and medicinal and aromatic plants, amounted to 2,724,084 tonnes worth 218 million and 584 thousand dollars.
