Our advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, do not eat it. Instead, return the product to a Heron Foods store for a full refund, or call the company's Customer Service on 0845 603 7300.

Action taken by the company

The company has recalled the product from customers and will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. It has also issued a point-of-sale notice, a copy of which can be found at the link below.

No other Heron Foods products are known to be affected.
