The taste of kiwifruit is slightly sour and the texture is soft. Kiwifruit is praised as the "King of Vitamin C" because one kiwifruit can provide twice the required daily intake of vitamin C for one person. The largest kiwifruit production area in China is located in Zhouzhi, Shaanxi. This area transports countless tons of top-quality kiwifruit throughout China every year. The product quality, flavor, and transport durability improved as both the kiwifruit plantation technology advanced and people became more familiar with the regional brand.

Furthermore, the product variety has increased with such major kiwifruit varieties as Haiwode, Qinmei, Yate, Huayou, and Xuxiang.

Kiwifruit originated in China. The fruit slowly spread to the US, Canada, Chile, New Zealand, and Germany from the 1970's onward. Afterwards, China only imported kiwifruit from New Zealand. At present, there are more than 160 kiwifruit varieties in China. The production season of Zhouzhi kiwifruit begins every year in the first week of September.

"Yangling Fruit Co., Ltd. began exporting Zhouzhi kiwifruit to Russia last year. We received great feedback from Russian consumers. This year, we will export green and red heart kiwifruit to Russia and mainland Europe. We hope to establish close cooperation with supermarkets in these areas. We will participate in the Fruit Logistica in Berlin in February of 2019 and display our kiwifruit products to expand our share of the overseas market. We invite all domestic and overseas traders to meet us there and discuss the possibilities of cooperation." This is according to Yi Linnuo, CEO of Yangling Fruit Co., Ltd.
