A spokesperson for the Department of Agricultural Industry and Rural Development in Zhejiang Province stated that the overall surface devoted to strawberry plantation in Zhejiang did not shrink in the last year, but extreme weather conditions in the autumn of 2018 limited the overall strawberry production volume. The strawberry supply volume in Zhejiang is one-third smaller than last year around this time.
