Core Tip: We are currently transplanting the watermelon seedlings.
"We are currently transplanting the watermelon seedlings. This year's production season is expected to begin around May 10th, 2019, if weather conditions are regular. It is still too early to predict the retail conditions of watermelons this year. However, based on our experience, it is unlikely that the market will be saturated." This is according to Tian Yinghui, CEO of Xiale Watermelons

"The overall surface area devoted to watermelon plantation in this cooperation reached 600 hectares this year, which is an increase of 40% in comparison with the 400 hectares last year. This is in part because we increased the number of employees here from more than 200 to more than 300."

"We have already completed the technical training of our new employees, which includes the management of watermelon ripeness and pesticide dosage. We have also already prepared plantation resources, fertilizer, and melon seedlings. We are currently transplanting a large volume of watermelon seedlings. As we enter March, we will begin to look for partners in marketing and promote our products to potential clients."

"We mainly sell our watermelons under our own famous brand 'Xiale' in wholesale markets and supermarkets in first- and second-tier cities throughout China. We have worked hard for years to develop our market share and shape our brand image. 'Xiale' watermelons occupy a stable share of the market every year, and have gathered a crowd of faithful consumers. We apply fertilizer and pesticide according to green standards to guarantee product quality."
