The new products include six Oscar Mayer Selects Hot Dog varieties; five Oscar Mayer Selects Cold Cut varieties; and an Oscar Mayer Selects Bacon.
Oscar Mayer new product development senior director Heather Buettner said the company is excited to bring these new choices to the meat case at everyday prices in everyday stores nationwide.
"Our goal is to have 20 percent of our portfolio made with no artificial preservatives by 2015. It gives consumers more reasons to say 'yes' to the foods they love," she added.
Under the Hot Dog varieties, the products include New York Style Beef Franks, Chicago Recipe Beef Franks, Angus Beef Franks, Angus Bun-Length Beef Franks, Beef Franks, and Turkey Franks.
The products under the Selects Cold Cut varieties include Slow Roasted Turkey Breast, Applewood Smoked Turkey Breast, Applewood Smoked Ham, Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast, and Slow Roasted Roast Beef.
The complete line of Oscar Mayer Selects is now available in the refrigerated meat case in most grocery stores nationwide.
