DKSH communications manager Seraina Peter told Confectionerynews.com that the new center will offer the Indian food and beverage industry with innovative concepts.
"A key advantage of having a local innovation centre is that it allows us to invite our clients and customers to the centre and work with them to test and try new ingredients and products," Peter said.
Using the new functional ingredients, bakery products such as sponge cakes, bar cakes and muffins can be produced, Peter added.
DKSH is a market expansion services group with focus on Asia. The group operates in 35 countries - 630 locations in Asia Pacific and 20 in Europe and America.
