Panache Beverage, a New York-based alcoholic beverage company specialized in the development, global sales and marketing of spirits brands, has released a new spirit - Alibi American Whiskey - as its first product under brown spirits category.
Alibi is a blend of corn, rye and malted barley that is aged in first-fill American oak casks, distilled in Indiana and bottled and blended in Florida.
Blend master Stephen Yorsz said this is not for the aficionado that adds a dropper of mineral water to his whiskey glass and swirls.
"Alibi is a blended whiskey that does not require elaborate tasting notes or a half-day tasting seminar on its production," Yorsz added.
The corn-based whiskey will be available in New York, Florida and New Jersey for the Thanksgiving holiday at a suggested retail price of $23.99 per 750ml bottle. It will also be rolled out nationally at retail and on-premise stores in Georgia, Illinois, Washington, Texas, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Arizona and Nevada in 2013.
