Avery Brewing is planning to build a 30,000ft² brewery, restaurant and gift shop on 5.6-acre parcel at 4910 and 4920 Nautilus Court in north Boulder, Colorado, US.
On opening in mid-2014, the new facilities are expected to allow Avery to brew 100,000 barrels of beer during the first year and increase it in mean time to 350,000 barrels annually.
The brewery, anticipating a growth in near future, has also hired Beverage Distributors Company in Colorado in place of CR Goodman and temporarily ceased distribution in Minnesota till the new facility is built.
Avery Brewing spokesman Joe Osborne was quoted by Denver Westword as saying that by rearranging, the brewery could produce up to 65,000 barrels in 2013.
"We like CR Goodman, but we got to the point where we were growing so fast that we need a distributor that can handle that volume and add a lot more distribution points," Osborne added.
The brewery is also moving out of Minnesota and adjusting its brewing schedule as well as the release of several seasonal beers in the process of expansion.
