Core Tip: Negociants Australia, an importer and distributor of fine wines in Australia, has signed an agreement to distribute New Zealand-based Fern Ridge Wines' Haha Wine brand in Australia.
The deal, which will be effective from 1 February 2013, will see Negociants distributing Haha Wine brands' Haha 2012 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Haha Marlborough 2011 Pinot Noir varieties, reported Scoop.co.nz.
Haha Wine
Haha Marlborough 2011 Pinot Noir is ruby-red in color, carrying aromas of rich concentrated dark cherry, plum and spices. The 13.5% ABV wine pairs well with lamb, grilled salmon, game and soft cheeses. The wine is priced at NZD19.99 ($16.79).

Haha Marlborough 2012 Pinot Noir is pale gold in color with light green hues. It features aromas of tropical passionfruit, gooseberry and lime zest, and is priced at NZD15.99 ($13.43).

Fern Ridge Wines general manager Ash Ireland was quoted by the website as saying that the partnership with Negociants will help in expanding their Haha wines across Australia.

Negociants Australia general manager Adam O'Neill said, "The addition of Hãhã Wine to the NA portfolio highlights our commitment to the representation of innovative, exciting wines that are representative of place and provide excellent value to restaurateurs and independent retailers alike."
