US-based Velvet Ice Cream has revamped the packaging for its ice cream range. The products with the new look will be launched soon in the grocery stores and other retail outlets in the US.
The new carton features a flowing ribbon that displays the product name. The packaging offers an illustration and clear description of the product and showcases a block print-style image of Ye Olde Mill, where Velvet Ice Cream is produced in Utica, Ohio.
The company noted that the new cartons will continue to feature the same recipe and taste, and will remain in a 56-ounce container.
Velvet Ice Cream president Luconda Dager said that the sleeker design reflects Velvet's farm-fresh, locally owned and produced quality, while giving a nod to the company's rich history of nearly 100 years.
The company's not to shrink their package size offers the kind of value that really resonates with the customers, Dager added.
Velvet Ice Cream, based is Utica, Ohio, produces more than five million gallons of ice cream annually.
