In last year's edition held in Curitiba , the PorkExpo featured more than 100 participating companies from the areas of nutrition, health, and genetic equipment.
Despite the crisis that struck the pig sector in 2012, Flávia Roppa ensures that the event marked clearly the opportunities and strength of swine production in Brazil.
She said, "Despite the crisis, the event was the dedication of the union sector and had the full support of organisations and producers.
