Energy Edge Technologies Corporation (EETC), a New Jersey-based company working for breweries, food processing, pharma and other industries, along with its subsidiaries Energy Edge Solutions and The Gourmet Wing, has signed a deal with CRISP Watermelon Drink of Georgia to distribute Cu’i watermelon drink throughout the US.
Cu'i is a 100% all natural water melon drink with concentrates of vitamin A, C and B6 and no added sugars. It is mainly served in health clubs, whole foods locations and high-end restaurants as a healthy drink.
Under the deal, EETC plans to come up with a new distribution unit to sell the beverage to health clubs, school systems, convenience stores and major retailers in all the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
EETC CEO James Boyd said Cu'i watermelon drink possesses natural sweetness, vitamins and antioxidants.
"We are extremely excited to have solidified this partnership with CRISP Watermelon Drink, LLC, as we believe we represent the ideal network to take this product to the next level," Boyd added.
"We are planning a grassroots marketing campaign, starting in Atlanta, as we offer an alternative to sugary carbonated drinks and the popular energy drinks.
"It was always our plan to continue adding brands to our portfolio to become a meaningful participant in the food and beverage category."
