Pernod Ricard has come up with a new packaging for Olmeca Altos Tequila range, which will soon be available across 17 markets, including the UK, Turkey, Canada and travel retail Europe throughout 2013.
Launched initially in 2009, the 100% blue agave tequila comes in two variants - Olmeca Altos Plata and Olmeca Altos Reposado.
The new packaging, which is designed by London design agency Coley Porter Bell, features a bottle with long and slim neck for an easily-pour while preparing cocktails.
The redesigned packaging of Olmeca Altos is part of a trial among bartenders to improve brand recognition.
Olmeca Altos international vice-president Oliver Fages was quoted by The Spirits Business as saying that they are proud of the new Altos packaging, as it is a true reflection of the Olmeca Altos brand identity, marrying tradition with modern, vibrant style perfectly.
"We're hopeful that as the roll-out continues globally, bartenders across the world will love the new bottle and that the subtle details in the design will be a hit with those Tequila fans who are looking for the ultimate in quality and authenticity," Fages added.
The newly designed bottles of Olemca Altos Plata and Olmeca Altos Reposado will retail for £24.75 and £28.25, respectively.
