National Beverage Corp (NBC), a Florida-based developer, manufacturer, and distributor focused on flavored soft drinks, has reported net sales of $662m for fiscal year (FY) ended 27 April 2013, an increase of 5%, compared to net sales of $628.9m in the same period of the previous year.
Net income was $47m for FY2013, up 7%, compared to net income of $44m in the same period of the previous year.
NBC chairman and chief executive officer Nick Caporella said that the dividend, the appreciation of their common stock; commitment of their team and the health and wellness of their brands were the reasons behind this growth.
"This fiscal year 2014, our performance will demand a rare form of excellence. Our past being the ultimate barometer, certainly we have what it takes to do - just that," Caporella added.
The company offers a range of soft drinks under several brands including Shasta, Faygo, Everfresh, Rip It and LaCroix.
