Döhler has announced a complete takeover of the Polish Aromes Group, a move Döhler claims has “secured its leading position in flavours for beverages and food”.
Aromes currently owns one production site in Warsaw, as well as two sales locations in Ukraine and the Baltics. Aromes’ strong presence in eastern Europe will prove beneficial to Döhler in their further expansion eastward.
Aromes has also been able to specialise in eastern European flavours and taste preferences. Aromes also specialises in beverage bases, emulsions, colours and compounds.
Döhler’s move into the eastern European market can be seen as driven by the large amounts of growth in that part of the EU. The company claims it is “paving the way for further growth in the Eastern European flavours market”.
