O’Fallon Brewery is set to establish a new beer plant, which is capable of brewing 25,000 barrels, with $8m investment.

As production at O'Fallon Brewery's current facility in O'Fallon, Missouri is unable to meet growing demand, the company has taken this decision.

The brewery also expects to produce 11,000 barrels, including 3,000 barrels in its O'Fallon facility and another 8,000 barrels at a contract brewery in Wisconsin in 2013. The expansion would consolidate brewing under one roof.

O'Fallon Brewery president Jim Gorczyka was quoted by bizjournals.com as saying that the brewery is going through a tremendous growth curve.

"We think it's very important for us to bring that brewing and packaging and sales back into the St. Louis market," Gorczyka added.

"Our goal is to be brewing at a new facility in approximately 18 to 24 months."

The brewery has increased its production to 10,800 barrels in 2012 from 5,600 barrels in 2011.
