Indya Foods Pty Ltd has recalled Haldiram’s Nagpur Indian Snacks ‘Tasty Nuts’ from Indian supermarkets and other independent grocery stores in Victoria and South Australia.
The product has been recalled due to the presence of aflatoxin at levels above those permitted in the Food Standards Code. Aflatoxin is a poison that can cause liver disease in humans. Consumer should not eat this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
