India-based liquor company Kristal Spirits is planning to acquire 10% market share in the country’s premium vodka segment as it is set to market F Beverages’ Fashion Vodka brand across new regions in India.
As part of the move, Kristal has signed an agreement to market Cyprus-based F Beverages' brand portfolio, which includes Fashion Vodka in India.
Kristal Spirits India CEO Rahul Kashyap told PTI that in the first 12 months of the launch, they are eyeing 10% market share in the one million cases per annum Indian premium vodka market.
The company is planning to sell more than half million cases of the vodka by 2018, he said.
"We have also launched it in Delhi and by the end of this month would launch it in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and West Bengal. By the end of December, we plan to have a pan India presence," Kashyap added.
Kristal will market two versions of Fashion vodka - luxury collection and party collection. Luxury collection will be made in Poland and imported into the country, while the party collection will be bottled in India.
Speaking about the launch of other brands from F Beverages portfolio, Kashyap told PTI, "We would first like to consolidate our position in the vodka market and then consider launching other brands from the F Beverages portfolio in the country."
