Davron Technologies, an industrial oven, process equipment and material handling systems manufacturer, has developed a 100ft-long energy-efficient gas-powered continuous conveyor oven for a snack food maker.

The DTI-1011 continuous conveyor oven, which is designed specifically for mass cookie baking, is claimed to remove about 30 pounds of moisture from 135 pounds of food products per hour.

It features four modulating natural gas burners, which maintain temperature in four distinct zones, as well as controls for regulating its circulation and exhaust air volumes.

Through the four independent heated zones, the conveyor system moves cookies or other food products within the oven on a carbon steel wire mesh belt. It can be adjusted to move material at a rate of between six to nine feet per minute.

Each zone features a modulating natural gas burner, a circulation fan, and an exhaust fan with dampers.

Davron stated that it designed DTI-1011 as per the specifications provided by the client, manufactured all components in house and performed acceptance testing with the customer at its headquarters.
