US-based natural soda maker Reed’s has added a new private label beverage into one of the top retailers in the country.
Reed's founder and CEO Chris Reed said that turning large national retailers into partners is one of the company's key business objectives.
"Our unique production and flavor-crafting capabilities have attracted interest from some of the largest retailers in the US for the development of their private label beverages.
"Reed's rapid speed to market, coupled with our proprietary manufacturing and packing capabilities, makes us a logical strategic partner to fulfill the private label needs of our customer base," Reed added.
For the 12 months ended 30 September 2013, the company's private label business grew by 37% and represented about 10% of the turnover.
Apart from sodas, the company also makes Kombucha line of fermented, probiotic organic teas.
