The National Mango Board retail team worked with retailers across the country to complete 138 funded mango promotions.
Retailers reported a cumulative 51% increase in mango volume movement during these promotions and 31,787 retail stores were impacted by our promotions. Demo events and new mango bins are just a couple great ways to promote mangos.
In 2013, 5,822 mango demo events were funded by the NMB and 6,043 retail stores received mango bin displays. These promotions were conducted in every part of the U.S. and all throughout the year to ensure that every growing region got their fair share of support.
NMB-funded retail promotions for 2014 have been underway since the first of January, and will continue consistently throughout the year.
