Klement Sausage acquired by private investment firm

Tall Tree Foods, a business unit of Altamont Capital Partners, has acquired Klement Sausage Co., Milwaukee. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Klement Sausage is a processor of smoked, fresh and summer sausage as well as snack sticks and deli meats. Ray Booth, the current chief executive officer of Klement’s, will continue to lead the business along with the current management team based in Milwaukee. The Klement’s plants and offices will remain in Milwaukee.

“We are excited to expand on Klement’s successful history,” said Tim Bruer, chief executive officer of Tall Tree. “Klement’s is a strong regional brand with the potential for growth in both its current markets and beyond.”

Other companies within the Tall Tree portfolio include Blue Ribbon Bacon and Sausage and Richard’s Cajun Foods.
