Indiana Packers Corporation has purchased 100 percent of the stock of Holland, Michigan-based Quincy Street Inc., a private-label pork products processor. Both companies have had a business relationship for more than 20 years. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Quincy Street services both large national and regional accounts throughout the US. Its plant in Western Michigan produces dinner hams, spiral sliced hams, breakfast sausages, deli meats, specialty toppings and cooked boneless pork loins incorporating the latest smokehouse technology to create an old-fashioned, natural-wood smoked flavor.

Russ Yearwood, president of Indiana Packers, said his company is excited about Quincy Street’s future growth opportunities. “The Quincy Street dedication to producing high-quality pork products and commitment to customer service complement our business strategy and core values,” he added. “We look forward to realizing the advantages brought by Quincy Street for many years to come.”

Indiana Packers Corporation is a fresh-pork processor based in Delphi, Ind. It processes smoked meat products under the Indiana Kitchen brand; a variety of other smoked-meat products, including ham, sausage and the Indiana Kitchen bacon available in smoked, peppered and apple wood varieties. Indiana Packers serves both retail and foodservice customers throughout the US, and exports products to foreign countries. With an estimated $976 million in annual sales, Indiana Packers ranked No. 33 in Meat&Poultry’s annual Top 100 processors listing published this past March.
