It’s known that Australian freshwater lobster farming project involves a lot of high technology. Experts and scholars in China have been studying on this for many years, but the fry hatchery problem is still unsolved. Taiwan Jiupeng Aquaculture Cooperation successfully resolved the technical problem and could produce 50 million lobster fry each year, which would be sold to market. Last year, Sheyang county sent an inspection group to Taiwan to carry out on-site study on local fisheries economy. Through its farming project period and good benefit, Taiwan Jiupeng Aquaculture Cooperation gained the attention of the inspection group, who thought that Yancheng enjoyed the farming conditions.
This May, Jiupeng Aquaculture also went to Yuda Aquaculture to inspect its farming base. As many as 8, 000 mu of farming scale, world-class feed producing line and professional farming technical team successfully fascinated Taiwanese merchants. The two parties reached an agreement that to set up a new Australian freshwater lobster farming company, whose lobster fry and technology would be supplied by Jiupeng and farming ponds and facilities by Yuda. The project is located in Huangshagang town, covering an area of 300 mu.
In the future, Taiwan Jiupeng will invest up to 0.1 billion yuan in Yuda Aquaculture Co., Ltd. The two enterprises will set up new feed producing line for Australian freshwater lobster farming and form a total of 100, 000 mu of farming base. It’s estimated that the selling will be up to 6 billion yuan each year, bringing 2 billion yuan worth of tax revenue.
