The Polish producer and distributor of fruits and vegetables Amplus has introduced the carrot variety Komarno, which was created for the production of juices. The carrots will be sold in 3 kg packages, each of which will serve to produce 1.5 litres of juice.
Komarno is a carrot variety grown in GLOBALG.A.P-certified farms located in the region of Kujawy. It has been bred specifically for juicing, but due to the fact that the vegetable retains its texture and colour during the heat treatment process, it may also be served hot. Komarno carrots have a sweet taste and a compact structure, while maintaining a high juice content.
In Poland, Amplus is a supplier to commercial networks, handling more than 1,000 deliveries per month. It also ships products to foreign markets in Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania and Latvia.
