Core Tip: This is the first year that we are selling out-of-season figs from Yunnan.
"This is the first year that we are selling out-of-season figs from Yunnan. The retail conditions were mediocre. The main reason for this situation is the abundant variety of seasonal fruit in the market. Consumers have a great number of fruits to choose from." This is according to Ms. Chen Junmiao of Beijing City Guoran Guomei Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.

"The sales volume of our figs increased during Spring Festival [February 5th, 2019], but not so much that sales reached a peak. One reason for this development is the growing supply volume of fruit during Spring Festival from fruit traders who see business opportunities in the festival period. The supply volume of figs is relatively small."

"We have 9 fig plantations in Beijing, Sichuan, Zhejiang, and Shandong covering a surface area of more than 107 hectares. The market supply period officially begins on May 25th, and the height of the production season lasts from late August until late November. We currently sell our figs under our own registered brand 'Psyche' through the Beijing Xinfadi Wholesale Market to traders all over China."
