Core Tip: Q.bel Foods, the producer of Q.bel chocolate wafers, has announced that it has expanded the distribution of its cookie products in the US.
The company's Q Thins, whole grain wafers with Belgian chocolate have been launched in Raley's, Bel Air, and Nob Hill in northern California; New Frontiers in Arizona and California; Mother's Market & Kitchen in southern California; Clark's Markets in Colorado and Utah; and several independent retailers in the western US. These retailers are serviced by the distributor Nature's Best.

In addition, Q Rolls are available at Meijers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois, and at Woodmans in Wisconsin and Illinois. These retailers are serviced by KeHE/Tree of Life, which has also placed Q Thins at several independent natural foods stores and supermarkets in the Midwest.

Q.bel founder and CEO Bahram Shirazi said the company probably passed 1,500 stores with the new line of Q Thins.

The Q.bel impulse product line was launched in January 2009, with an initial national rollout by Whole Foods Markets, following which, the line was rolled out at several retailers in the health and natural foods industry.
