Dallas-based chain Corner Bakery Cafe has announced plans to open forty-seven new restaurants in three US states.
Corner Bakery will establish 18 new outlets in Minnesota, 18 in Florida and 11 in Oregon. The company, which has over 140 cafes in 14 states, has embarked on an ambitious expansion plan to double its US portfolio over the next four years.
Jonathan Benjamin, Corner Bakery’s vice-president of franchising said the new cafes will be opened in locations that have ‘strong neighbourhoods’.
“Each is known for their strong neighbourhoods, and with our neighbourhood approach to development, we expect each new restaurant to quickly become a favourite gathering place for local families and friends,” he said.
“Add the fact that fast-casual is the fastest growing segment of the restaurant industry, and that makes Corner Bakery Café an ideal concept for entrepreneurs and multi-unit operators looking for new opportunities in these markets.”
