In tune with the festival season, Mother Dairy has announced the launch of traditional sweets.

Strengthening its dairy desserts range, the company has launched Chhana Kheer, Khoya and an assorted pack of Indian traditional sweets.

Speaking on the launch, Subhasis Basu, business head, dairy products, Mother Dairy, said, “Mother Dairy always strives to offer new, relevant and meaningful alternatives for consumption of milk and milk products. These days people have become very health conscious and are very meticulous in terms of their food intake. With reports coming in rampantly about adulterated khoya and sweets being sold during festive season, Mother Dairy took the decision to launch traditional sweets hence giving the consumers a safe and pure alternative in sweets. There was also need for khoya in consumer packs from a credible source since most of the households use it for making various sweets.”

The sweets will be available across select Mother Dairy booths along with local kirana stores. Khoya is available in 200 gm pack and is priced at Rs 60 per pack; the Chhana Kheer is available in 125 gm cup priced at Rs 25. The Indian Sweets Gift Pack contains Kaju-Pista Rolls, Kaju Burfi, Dodda Burfi and Milk Cake priced at Rs 450 per pack.
