US-based Davidson Brothers Brewing is looking to finalize a site for a $3m craft brewery which is scheduled to open in late 2013.
The proposed 50-barrel capacity brewery planned to be set up in Glens Falls, US will employ six to eight people initially.
Davidson Brothers, presently brews 3,500 barrels of beer for retail marketing at Shipyard Brewing, a microbrewery in Portland, US.
On 19 December 2012, the company has also received a $50,000 state regional economic development grant for the proposed brewery.
Davidson Brothers Brewing president Rick Davidson was quoted by bizjournals.com as saying that in 16 years of business, the brewery has not received a benefit.
The Davidsons are working in alliance with Arrow Financial to secure loan for the new brewery.
Davidson Brothers supplies its craft draft beer and bottled beer to more than 300 retail customers in 14 New York counties, US through Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service.
