Core Tip: Solvay Aroma Performance introduced Govanil™, a new range of vanilla flavors for bakery and confectionery food products.
Solvay Aroma Performance introduced Govanil™, a new range of vanilla flavors for bakery and confectionery food products, offering a new way to taste and perceive vanilla notes in foods, such as cookies, biscuits, pastries, cakes, fillings and chocolate.

Govanil offers up to 20% more flavor compared to standard vanilla, and can be used to enrich other flavors like butter, egg, biscuit, caramel and fruit. It also can be used to compensate for fat or sugar content in bakery and confectionery recipes, providing an appealing and valuable component for industrial food applications.

Govanil includes three grades, all having organoleptic and functional qualities. Govanil™ is the benchmark vanilla flavor offering a unique and long-lasting character with exceptional value-added properties. Govanil™ Intense is ideal for doses below 0.1% and custom-made tastes. Govanil™ Natural, which is obtained from renewable sources and meets the requirements of U.S. and European regulations for natural products, allows for the use of “natural flavor" on food labeling.
