Liberty Wines to deploy The Wine System to address operational needs

Liberty Wines, a UK-based importer and wholesaler of over 200 wines, is to deploy a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution - The Wine System - developed by Microsoft Gold Partner TVision Technology to address its operational and financial needs.

The move follows the January 2013 opening of purpose-built office, 1,000m² warehouse and tasting facilities in London.

The ERP solution is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and is designed to specially meet the needs of wine distribution industry.

Expected to go-live in early 2014, the new system will also offer scope and scalability using which Liberty Wines can meet its future growth plans.

Liberty Wines chief operating officer Gary Wyatt said by using the technology of Microsoft Dynamics, the company can extend the solution to reach customers, suppliers and employees easily.

"It also means we will have management information that will help us guide the future of the business as well as meeting the day-to-day process needs," Wyatt added.

TVision Technology managing director Richard Thompson said, "Our reputation for delivering great systems for wine merchants is something we are very proud of and we work hard to ensure it is maintained and deserving."
