Acme Smoked Fish Corp. introduced an expansion of the company’s salmon jerky line today, with a new flavor and new smaller packages.The company has added an orange ginger variety to its line of pepper and teriyaki salmon jerky products.
Acme said the jerky products will also now be available in smaller, 0.6-ounce packs. The smaller packages and new flavor are geared toward children, according to Gabriel Viteri, Acme’s VP of strategy and business development.
“Not only is Salmon Jerky easy to tote and store in backpacks, it’s also rich in protein to fuel active lifestyles,” Viteri said. “Orange Ginger has the sweetness kids crave, while new 0.6 ounce packs help parents offer age-appropriate portions.”
The products will be available at high-end retailers nationwide.
