US-based Smoothie King Franchises is seeking franchisees in a move to open around 25 new stores in Kansas City over the next five years.
Smoothie King serves original nutritional fresh-blended smoothie and healthy retail products, including sports beverages, energy bars, healthy snacks, vitamin supplements, herbs, minerals and other sports nutrition products.
Commenting on the expansion, Smoothie King Global CEO Wan Kim said that the brand is still poised for tremendous growth in the area and is now seeking qualified franchisees to help expand its footprint and help meet this demand.
Smoothie King local franchisee Joe Cali said, "Our first Smoothie King location in the Northland area has been well received by the community and we look forward to opening our second location in the near future."
Currently, Smoothie King operates four locations in the Kansas City area, while two stores are under development with the next location scheduled to open in 2014.
