VION Food Group has presented its new Management Board, which will take up office on 1 April and work to achieve VION Food's new direction and future.
The Management Board will be made up of eight people and will have final responsibility for controlling all food activities in the Netherlands and Germany. It will control these business activities centrally. Through this strategic choice, VION will achieve efficiency and synergy in its business operations.
The Management Board will be chaired by Michiel Herkemij, CEO of VION Food Group.
The Management Board consists of an international team of experts with many years of management experience in meat and food in the fields of strategy, finance, HR, supply chain management, production, processing, sales and marketing. The positions on the Management Board that are still vacant will be filled in the short term.
