Core Tip: S-based establishment Culinary Brands is recalling nearly 4,038 pounds of pork products as they may contain wheat, which is not mentioned on the packaging, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
The recalled products include 9oz plastic tray packages labeled Simply Balanced Pork Chile Verde bearing lot #A5089G2 and it carries establishment number EST. 6009 inside the USDA mark of inspection.

These products were shipped to retail locations across the nation.

The recall was done after it was found that the product was mistakenly mislabeled and may contain the wrong product, a mushroom risotto which contains wheat.

This is classified as Class II health hazard situation where there is a remote probability of adverse health consequences from the use of the product.

However, no illnesses have been reported associated with the consumption of the recalled product.
