Cottage Kitchen is recalling its Traybake Selection in the UK as it contains walnuts that are not declared on the product packaging, according to the UK Food Standards Agency.
The recalled product is Cottage Kitchen Traybake Selection bearing Barcode: 5019274001502 with Best before end: all dates up to and including 21 September 2015.
Cottage Kitchen has recalled the product from 48 stores in Northern Ireland after learning that the product contains walnuts, which are not mentioned in the ingredients section of the label.
Consumption of the recalled product may cause a possible health risk in people allergic to nuts.
Cottage Kitchen has also issued point-of sale notices to all relevant outlets.
No other Cottage Kitchen products are affected by the recall.
Customers allergic to nuts are advised not to consume the recalled product and instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
