On 9 November, free apples were handed out in Warsaw and Lublin with the idea of encouraging people to consume patriotism and eat 100 apples in 100 days for Independent Poland. Everyone who visited the stand on that day received free apples from Polish orchards, reports the Association of Polish Fruit Growers.

Through this action, the ZSRP wants to convince the Polish consumer to make conscious purchases in the future and choose only Polish fruits, which are, above all, tasty, and produced adhering to all safety standards.

"Poland is an ideal place for fruit cultivation due to its specific climatic conditions; that is, sunny, warm days and cold nights. Thanks to this, our apples have a sweet-and-sour taste that you won't find in imported fruits," said the President of the Union of Polish Fruit Growers.
