The holidays are rapidly approaching and two new products are being introduced to the market: a colored cauliflower mix and a tapas tomato mix. Staay Food Group: "These go well with the trends of  “shared-dining” and“instagrammable food”". Staay Food Group has developed both products in cooperation with partners in Spain.

Tomatolio: for a drink and tapas
The tomato mix consists of red and yellow snack tomatoes, a bottle of olive oil, and a bag of salt. This is packed in transparent, sealed box of 250 gram. Tomatolio is a product which can be easily combined with toast as a healthy snack or tapas.

Tricolor cauliflower mix: color variation and less smell
New in a 6 kg box, a mix of orange, green, and purple cauliflower for more variation on the shelf and on the table. The orange and purple variant have a more crispy bite than the green and white cauliflower. To retain the color variation on the table, the purple cauliflower has to be steamed or microwaved. When cooking, this is only possible if the cauliflower is brieflly blanched and cooled, before properly cooking. Beside variation in color and a different bite of the cauliflower mix, there is another big advantage. The colored cauliflower smells significantly less during cooking than white cauliflower.

Both products are in this form only available in The Netherlands at Staay Food Group. If the test period is successful, the products can be included in the regular assortment.
