Maxxium UK, a sales and marketing firm and part of global sales and distribution alliance between Beam and The Edrington Group, is to make Jim Beam Honey bourbon available in the UK off-trade markets.

After the successful run in on-trade market, the honey-infused bourbon will now be made available at multiple grocers, independent specialists and luxury retail outlets in the UK.

The 35% ABV Jim Beam Honey is a blend of 4yo Jim Beam Bourbon whiskey and natural honey.

Maxxium UK imported whiskey marketing controller Eileen Livingston said Jim Beam is attracting more consumers towards the bourbon category by investing in innovative products.

"In the past 18 months alone, we have launched Red Stag by Jim Beam, the first ever cherry infused bourbon, Jim Beam Honey, the first ever honey-infused bourbon and most recently Devil's Cut, a first-of-its-kind innovation for premium bourbon drinkers," Livingston added.

Jim Beam Honey will be rolled out in the UK off-trade by mid-October 2012.
