One example made for restaurant menus is Eli’s Cheesecake Company’s new Salted Caramel Cheesecake. This product features a “sophisticated and modern combination of salt and caramel,” officials say.
More specifically, developers describe it as a “creamy caramel cheesecake baked on a sweet-and-salty almond crust, topped with a thick bed of buttery caramel and a sprinkle of more almonds.” Eli’s also notes that the new item is gluten-free.
