Trinchero Family Estates, a California-based family-owned winery, has made its Fancy Pants Wine range available for sale throughout the nation.
The brand enjoyed successful run, especially among female wine consumers, during the limited-edition test launch, which forced the winery to roll out the drinks nationally.
The national roll out includes a 2011 Red Blend and a 2012 Pinot Grigio.
Sourced from major California vineyard locations, the Fancy Pants red wine is a blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet and Merlot. The wine gets its blackberry jam flavors from Zinfandel, mouthfeel character from Merlot, and flavors and tannins from the Cabernet.
The 2011 Red Blend pairs well with grilled meats or chicken.
The Fancy Pants Pinot Grigio is crisp, refreshing with bright fruit character. It complements well to gnocchi with butter and sage.
Fancy Pants marketing manager Jason Hart said Fancy Pants has certainly struck a chord with consumers.
"It's a memorable brand name with a stunning package, but more than anything Fancy Pants is about bringing 'fun' and 'fancy' to any occasion," Hart added.
Fancy Pants wines are currently available for sale nationally for $9.99 each.
