Trinchero Family Estates, a California-based winery, has entered into a distribution agreement with Southern Wines & Spirits of Indiana to expand its distribution network in the state and country.
Effective from 1 March 2013, Southern's Prestige Division handles the Trinchero portfolio in Indiana, making Southern as Trinchero's distributor in nine US markets.
Trinchero Family Estates president and COO Bob Torkelson said, "In extending our valued partnership with Southern to Indiana, we look forward to working closely with Art Salvi and the entire Southern team in Indiana to increase our profile and strengthen our brands' growth and share now and into the future."
Southern Wines & Spirits Indiana vice president and general manager Art Salvi said the company's Prestige Division has continued to grow since it established two years ago.
"The timing could not be better for Trinchero to join Southern in Indiana. We look forward to working closely with Bob and his team to steward the Trinchero brands for great success," Salvi added.
Trinchero has a portfolio of more than 30 brands such as Sutter Home, Trinchero Napa Valley, Napa Cellars, Terra d'Oro, SeaGlass, Trinity Oaks, Folie à Deux, Ménage à Trois, Fre, and others.
