UK-based drinks company Global Brands is set to add a new glitter-infused liqueur to its Corky’s liqueur brand.
Developed after a year of R&D, the new Corky's Mango Glitter Mix is a combination of mango and an edible glitter ingredient that suspends sparkle in the liquid.
Global Brands marketing director Simon Green said Corky's is breaking the boundaries of the liqueur category with the launch of Corky's Glitter Mix.
"Liqueurs are a huge category, worth £836 million to the on-trade. To further accelerate the current growth of 19%, new steps of innovation need to be taken," Green added.
According to Global Brands, the new product is the first and only liqueur in the specialty category to contain edible glitter.
Corky's Glitter Mix will be launched exclusively in the on-trade in November.
