Darom AS was established in 2005 in Lithuania, and supplies food flavourings in The Baltic States and Belarus into many areas that will fit with the range of products Sirane offers.
Jurgita Spejeraite said: “The company originally began producing flavours for foods, and we supply extensively into the meat, cheese, seafood, confectionary and drinks markets.
“But we are also distributors for a number of companies, including Vitana in the Czech Republic and Red Arrow in the USA, and are able to make good use of our contacts base.
“Sirane’s impressive range of products will allow us to expand our offering, expand our customer base, and bring a range of new innovations to the Baltic States and Belarus.”
Darom AS will distribute Sirane products into Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Belarus.
Sirane has a number of food packaging specialisms, including absorbency, shelf-life, ovenable and microwaveable bags, susceptors and many other packaging solutions.
Recent innovations include Sira-Cook Supreme – an ovenable cooking bag which can even be thrown on the barbecue if the weather permits, Sira-Cook Smart-Release – a dual-compartment microwave cooking bag with a timed release for perfect infusion of sauce and ingredients, and Dri-Fresh Fresh-Hold – odour absorbing pads for vac-packed meat.
