UK-based Triano Brands has recalled a batch of Tofutti Original Minis as it contains soya, which is not mentioned on the front of the label, according to the UK Food Standards Agency.
The product associated with the recall include multipack, 6x28g of Tofutti Original Minis with 'Best before' date: 15 May 2015.
Only the Tofutti Original Minis' individual pots with a foil lid mentioning soya as an ingredient are affected by the recall.
The company will contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will communicate to their members about the withdrawal.
Consumption of the recalled product may cause a possible health risk in people allergic or intolerant to soya.
Customers who have purchased the recalled product are advised to discard it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
